A compression garment is a thick elastic garment made to fit tight but comfortable, dress to wear like undergarments. It provides pressure over the skin from outside to adhere with the muscle underlying the skin and avoid seroma formation
After wearing a compression garment seroma doesn’t form under the skin and skin takes the shape of the muscle underlying it so skin takes the shape of the underlying muscle.
